I guess at some point in life, people start to get practical. relationships aren't like how they were in the past, where you get together with someone just because the person makes you feel good or that you really like the person. you're no longer satisfied with being with someone just merely on feelings. sometimes, love is really not enough. it comes to the point where being in a relationship is sort of like making a business transaction, and you think of many other criteria such as whether or not the guy can provide for you (which doesn't really matter to me as long as he can fend for himself. in which if he can't, then there seriously is a need for you to start looking for other options), whether he is ambitious in his career etcetc, and all these are on top of the prerequisites of getting into a relationship such as feelings and commitment. turning 22 really changes your expectations of your future partner man. financial stability is of the utmost importance. guys who are inept in that field is actually pretty much a turnoff. it makes you wonder why they are not competent enough.

i wonder if this issue bothers other people. it certainly bothers me a lot. i don't know if the reason for it is because most of my friends are graduates or undergraduates or that we seem to be the materialistic sort. but seriously, everyone has to be practical right? how do you expect to live together with someone who has no goals or ambitions in life, am i right? if the guy can't cope financially, it's only going to cause more problems in the future.

i dont feel like blogging anymore. i guess i need to get a job first before i say anything. shit, why did i squeeze 4 years into 3?!
